Martin County High School School Advisory Council (SAC) cordially invites you to become a candidate for membership.  The elected members represent parents, students, community/business members, and school staff in school governance.

The primary objective of SAC is to assist in the preparation, evaluation, and implementation of the School Improvement Plan (SIP).  Among many other responsibilities, SAC advises the school on budgetary allocations and disbursements of funds as allocated by the state legislature – money which is primary used for implementing the SIP.

Generally, the committee meets the third Wednesday of every month at 6 pm in the Florida Room, which is adjacent to the school’s media center, and it is open to the public (members or non-members). Family members often offer insights on how effective our school is in creating a positive learning environment and how well their children are performing. Parents’ participation/involvement is very important to our school. If you are interested, please contact Mrs. Rossana Berrios, SAC Chair, at 772-219-1800 ext 830 or at
