2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Early Release Day
Welcome to Dr. David L. Anderson Middle School,
I am so excited to have everyone return to continue this journey. Due to all of our parental support, outstanding students, their commitment to learning, and the dedication and talents of our teachers, we have developed into a very special school. Greatness is happening in many corners of our buildings at AMS and we are excited to grow that success on campus into all corners of our buildings. I am honored to once again serve this school, our students, our community, and the staff at AMS. With the teaming approach we are using and all of the points of contact we have built for our students, I know it is going to be another great year at Anderson! We are excited to see you all soon.
Respectfully, Tim Aitken

Martin County Schools Earn "School of Excellence" Designation
The School District and the Martin County Tax Office partnered for the Kids Tag Art (KTA) program by which grade 5 art students design vanity plates and fobs for purchase. All proceeds are returned to the schools. Given the pandemic shortened the opportunity to purchase items last school year, we have reopened the portal for this year's grade 6 students. Here is more information. 2020-2021 grade 5 students' artwork is currently available for purchase.
